Day 1 : Dalaman, Göcek
Dear Majesty Uk Travel guest, our boat is located just 30 minutes away from Dalaman airport, in the charming harbor of Göcek. Upon arrival, we will welcome you aboard with a delicious dinner to kick off your journey. The town has been inhabited for thousands of years and was an important port during the Lycian period. Göcek is surrounded by stunning natural scenery, including pine-covered hills, clear blue waters, and sandy beaches.

Day 2: Fethiye Bay
Today, we will start with a relaxing day in the tranquil Bay of Fethiye, allowing you to unwind and soak up the sun on board. The bay is surrounded by mountains covered with pine trees, which provide a stunning backdrop to the crystal-clear waters. Visitors can enjoy a variety of activities in the bay, such as swimming, snorkeling, diving, and boat trips. There are many small islands in the bay, which can be visited by boat, and offer secluded beaches and picturesque coves.

Day 3: Fethiye , Gemiler Island
We will cruise through the spectacular Bay of Fethiye, with plenty of time to swim, relax and take in the stunning scenery of the sea and mountains. Our next stop will be the enchanting Gemiler Island, where we will visit an extraordinary Byzantine pilgrimage center that may have been connected to St. Nicholas of Myra. This center has multiple chapels and churches linked by a most unusual long vaulted corridor that ascends towards the island’s summit.

Day 4: Kas , Antipellos
Next, we will head to the beautiful town of Kaş, where we will explore the remains of the ancient city of Antiphellos, including some remarkably fine sarcophagi and rock-cut tombs, a temple and a well-preserved theatre with a magnificent sea view. We will also marvel at the town's whitewashed houses shaded with lush purple bougainvillea. The town is known for its laid-back atmosphere and traditional Turkish charm, with many narrow streets and colorful houses.
Antiphellos, on the other hand, is the ancient name for the town of Kaş, and its ruins can still be seen in the area. The ancient city was an important center for trade and commerce during the Lycian period, and many of its ruins, such as the Lycian rock tombs and the ancient theater, can still be explored today.

Day 5: Ucagiz, Teimiussa
We will travel east to the picturesque village of Üçağız, old Teimiussa, one of the most evocative of all Lycian burial sites. Here, we will see a jumble of ancient sarcophagi, cut from the area’s craggy limestone, all overlooking a tiny fortification. Many of them bear fine relief decoration.
Lycian city of Teimiussa, which is located on the western side of the Üçağız village. The city was an important center for trade and commerce during the Lycian period, and its ruins can still be seen today. Visitors can explore the ancient city walls, the acropolis, and the necropolis, which are located on a hill overlooking the sea.

Day 6: Arykanda
Today, we will venture into the mountainous interior to visit Arykanda, a large Greek and Roman city in a spectacular setting of slope and forest, often likened to Delphi. We will explore the monumental baths, the perfect little Greek theatre and adjacent stadium, and the unusual series of tombs that make Arykanda a highly memorable place to explore.

Day 7: Phaselis
Our journey continues to Phaselis, an ancient city that was once the seat of pirates who terrorized the region’s rich trade routes. We will explore its three harbors that now lie serene amid pine trees and witness its impressive public buildings. The city was founded in the 7th century BC by the Phoenicians and became an important center for trade and commerce during the Hellenistic period.
Phaselis is known for its well-preserved ruins, including the city walls, the main gate, the agora, the theater, and the Roman baths. The city is also famous for its three harbors, which were once used for trade and fishing. One of the most interesting features of Phaselis is the unique mix of Hellenistic, Roman, and Byzantine architecture, which can be seen in the ruins.

Day 8: Antalya, Perge
We will head to Antalya, the south’s most vibrant city, to visit its super archaeological museum, a treasury of Roman sculpture. We will also explore Roman Perge, a vast and stunningly monumental Greek and Roman city. We will stroll through colonnades and markets, marble-clad bathhouses, and a pristine stadium, all overlooked by massive fortifications. It was founded in the 7th century BC by the Hittites and became an important center for trade and commerce during the Hellenistic period.
The city is known for its well-preserved ruins, including the ancient city walls, the stadium, the theater, the Roman baths, and the agora. One of the most impressive features of Perge is the Roman aqueduct, which brought water to the city from the nearby mountains.
Perge was also an important center for religion, with many temples dedicated to various gods and goddesses. The most famous of these is the Temple of Artemis, which was built in the 2nd century AD and still stands today.

Today, we will travel southwards to ancient Olympos, an ancient city located in a most unusual setting along the banks of a river in a canyon. We will follow an ancient sacred route to visit the Chimaera, a natural phenomenon where flames burst from the ground, giving rise to the legend that the mythical beast of that name lies buried beneath the earth.

Day 11: Simena
As we make our way westward, we'll journey to a picturesque and secluded fishing village that sits upon the ancient ruins of Simena. This charming hamlet boasts a rich history, evident in the impressive array of sarcophagi and rock-cut tombs that surround it. We'll also have the opportunity to explore the stunning Ottoman castle that sits atop an ancient citadel. From here, we'll take in breathtaking panoramic views of the region and soak up the ambiance of this idyllic setting.

The castle of Simena was built by the Knights of Rhodes in the 14th century and is one of the main attractions of the city. The castle offers stunning views of the surrounding area, including the crystal-clear waters of the Mediterranean and the nearby island of Kekova.
Simena is also famous for its ancient ruins, which include a small theater, a necropolis, and the remains of a temple dedicated to Apollo. Visitors can explore the ancient streets and buildings, and get a glimpse into what life was like in the city over 2000 years ago. One of the most unique features of Simena is the underwater ruins of the nearby town of Dolchiste, which was destroyed by an earthquake in the 2nd century AD. Visitors can take a boat tour of the area and see the remains of the ancient town submerged in the clear waters of the Mediterranean.

Day 12: Kekova Island, Kalkan, Xanthos
We start our day with a refreshing cruise along the shore of the sunken ancient city on Kekova island, admiring the beautiful scenery and the crystal-clear waters. Then, we set off for a picturesque harbor tour of Kalkan, where we'll have the opportunity to explore the charming streets and local shops.
Afterwards, we'll head inland to Xanthos, the occasional capital of ancient Lycia, where archaeologists have been digging for half a century. Here, we'll be amazed by the great fortifications surrounding the vast ancient city, including part of its cemeteries with some of the finest Lycian tombs. Among them are the extraordinarily elaborate and unusual pillar tombs and some beautifully sculptured sarcophagi.

Day 13: Patara, Lycian Bouleuterion
Today, we'll travel to Patara, initially a harbor town dependent on Xanthos, and later the Roman capital of Lycia. Here, the sand dunes have protected the ruins for centuries, and we'll witness the gradual uncovering of an astonishingly rich ancient city. We'll be amazed by the enormous theatre, vast granary, and column-lined streets. One of the unique highlights here is the bouleuterion, the plenary chamber of the confederation, an ancient political entity that helped inspire the United States Constitution. We'll also have the opportunity to explore the stunning Roman lighthouse, one of the oldest extant examples in the world.
