Day 1: Amman

Welcome to Amman, a city with a rich history and a modern vibe. Upon arrival at Queen Alia International Airport, a Majesty Uk Travel representative will meet you and take you to your hotel. At 6 pm, you will attend an important welcome meeting to start your adventure. If you arrive early, take a stroll to explore the city's landmarks such as the citadel, the Jordan Museum, or the Roman Theatre. After the meeting, indulge in an optional group dinner or explore the cafes and try out the local food.

Day 2: Wadi Rum

Embark on a breathtaking journey after breakfast and head down the Desert Highway towards the stunning Wadi Rum, which is approximately a 4.5-hour drive away. The mesmerizing landscape of towering sandstone mountains amidst a sandy desert floor is sure to leave you spellbound. Upon arrival, meet your hospitable Bedouin hosts, have lunch and hop onto one of the old jeeps operated by the local Bedouin community to explore the Rum. Explore several of the unique rock formations that Wadi Rum is known for and immerse yourself in the vast, tranquil silence of the spectacular desert landscapes. Spend a memorable night under the stars at one of the scattered Bedouin campsites in the area.

Day 3: Aqaba
Start your day with a breathtaking sunrise at your desert camp and explore more of the stunning Wadi Rum sites or take a leisurely stroll through the vast desert before departing mid-morning for Aqaba, a coastal city on the Red Sea. Upon arrival, check-in to your hotel and join your leader for a quick orientation of the town, including the 14th-century Ottoman Mamluk Fort, from where Lawrence of Arabia rode to Cairo. Spend the rest of the day soaking up the sun, enjoying the hotel's pool, or taking a dip in the crystal-clear waters of the Red Sea.

Day 5 : Petra

Petra is undoubtedly one of the world's most iconic and awe-inspiring destinations. It's no wonder that it is often included in people's travel bucket lists and has been recognized as one of the 'New7Wonders of the World'. The ancient city, which was once lost to the world, is a testament to the ingenuity and artistry of the Nabateans, who carved elaborate buildings and tombs into the rose-red rock. The narrow Siq, a dramatic canyon that leads to the iconic Treasury, is a must-see sight, and the whole area is steeped in history and mystery. Your guide will take you on a journey through Petra's past, exploring the ancient Roman road, amphitheater, and tombs, before leaving you with free time to explore the site at your leisure. Don't miss the chance to climb up to the Monastery, carved into the mountain summit, for a breathtaking view of the entire area. This is a truly unforgettable day that will leave a lasting impression on you.

Day 6: Amman
Indulge in a delicious breakfast before leaving Petra for your next adventure. Make your way to Shobak, a magnificent Crusader castle that dominates the landscape. Take a leisurely stroll around the castle and explore its nooks and crannies, including a small chapel and an original gatehouse. Don't forget to investigate the secret passage that leads to a long and dark mystery. Before arriving in Madaba, take a photo stop at the edge of the Dana Biosphere Reserve. Once in Madaba, visit the Greek Orthodox Church of St. George and marvel at its impressive mosaic map of the Holy Land, dating back to 550 AD. Late afternoon brings you to Amman, where you can unwind in one of the city's many fine restaurants.

Day 7: Amman
Embark on a short drive north to the ancient city of Jerash, an outstanding Roman archaeological site and a must-see in Jordan. Explore the well-preserved Greco-Roman ruins of this grand city, including its archways, theatres, baths, public buildings, and colonnaded streets. Afterwards, cool off with a unique swim at the Dead Sea, the lowest point on Earth, with its super-salty lake that allows you to float effortlessly. Rejuvenate your skin and mind with a mineral-rich mud bath as you relax and take in the stunning scenery. Return to Amman for an evening of fun and relaxation at one of the many bars and restaurants in West Amman or head to one of the traditional cafes popular with the locals for an authentic experience.
